Pro ($9.00/month) gives you 250 searches per month, which is 2,500 available names, 20 full reports, auto runs of up to 30 minutes, and unlimited projects. Max ($29.00/month) raises that to 1,000 searches, 80 reports, and 1-hour auto runs.

A search is 10 names that are actually free to register. NamingOwl keeps inventing and checking against the registry until it has 10, so a search that finds nothing costs nothing. If your description is mined out, the search stops early and says so; change the keywords, the ending or the name length and try again.

Score is how strong the name is as a brand: memorable, easy to spell after hearing it, easy to say, and commercially credible. Fit is how well it suits your description in particular. Both run from 1 to 10, and 9.0 or higher is flagged as a winner. Names under 7.0 Score or 7.5 Fit go to the "left out" list under the results, so nothing is hidden.

A name is only reported available when the official registry (via RDAP) confirms there is no registration, and only on endings where that answer can be trusted. Availability can change any minute, so register a name you love promptly. NamingOwl never reserves or holds domains.

.com is the default; the picker offers .com, .net, .org, .co.uk, .ca and .com.au plus a custom field for .de, .uk, .fr, .nl, .dk, .no, .fi, .ie, .be, .pt, .it, .pl, .jp, .au, .nz and the second-level forms .org.uk, .net.au and .co.nz. Endings such as .io, .ai, .app, .co and .shop are not offered, because their registries reserve or price names in ways public registry data cannot see, so "available" could not be trusted there.

No. The Register button hands you off to Namecheap, Porkbun, Cloudflare, Dynadot, or Squarespace at their normal prices. NamingOwl has no partnership with any registrar.

Yes, from the billing page. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period, then you drop to the free plan. Projects and favorites are never deleted on downgrade.

Open Billing from the account menu, choose Delete account, and confirm by typing your email address. That erases your projects, every name and report in them, and your account itself, and cancels any paid plan on the spot. It is immediate and cannot be undone.
